We are expanding in the Austin metro area and looking for a smart, energetic Construction Trainee.
Requirements Behave with Integrity, do the right thing, even when no one is watching Always be early and always be prepared as possible so as to not waste time Aptitude for problem solving and working with trades and vendors Persistent with excellent follow up skills Detail oriented and extremely organized Ability to change directions with changing priorities and adapt quickly Talent for learning new skills and responsibilities Capacity to take ownership of one's work Treat company assets as if they were your own Strong sense of urgency Must be able to work outside in different weather conditions Job Responsibilities Keep impeccable records of lumber & material inventory Provide superb communication of lumber and material status to our management team Control material deliveries to homes Report any material quality issues Support Construction Managers in building on time, on budget & on quality Provide excellent warranty service Promote a team spirit and a safe work site Take on new assignments Work experience Experience at a lumber yard or residential construction Skills Required A positive attitude Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and math skills Willingness to learn and solve problems Proficient in Microsoft office Spanish is a plus Job Type:
